There’s No Athlete in Athleisure
The Complexity
There’s no athlete in athleisure.
The Idea
The biggest brands in performance apparel had stripped the soul out of athletic culture. Every athlete knows that greatness isn’t a moment. It’s the result of showing up every single day when nobody is watching, with consistency, focus, and a refusal to cut corners. We built the brand strategy, identity, campaign, and e-commerce platform around that belief and demanded the same standard from the product itself. The fit, the materials, and the quality were held to the same relentless consistency that separates the great from everyone else.
Misty Copeland, Wayne Gretzky, and Derek Jeter weren’t just founders. We wove their relentless consistency into the fabric of the brand, filming their stories and embedding the principles that made them great into everything we built.
The visual world matched the belief. Gritty, raw, and completely stripped of the polish the category had become addicted to. Where other brands softened the edges, we leaned in harder. A brand that looks like hard work and wears like it too.
The Outcome
Built on its founding principles, the brand has grown into a $200 million company and opened its first retail store.
